Gallery of Plein Air Paintings

The term 'Plein air' comes from the French phrase en plein air, which means 'in the open air'.
I have enjoyed painting on location for a number of years, particularly when I travel.
For me there is a certain freedom and enjoyment in painting  and sketching outdoors.
